When we talk about the Happiness Mood, it’s inevitable that each of us thinks about what that word can mean—because if there’s something we like, it’s that it gets a hold of us. When you’re in “Happiness” mode, memories, tastes, or passions pop into your head to illustrate those moments you’ll never forget. Have you ever asked yourself what the best day of your life is? If you already have, a smile probably came to your face because of that great memory—and if you haven’t, do it, it’ll be awesome.

This is how, at FOU, we want to tell you how we express ourselves through what we are and what we feel—how happiness and every lived experience shape us. To give you a taste of what we mean, we invite you to check out our social media posts. If there’s something we try to do, it’s to pack them with good vibes and make them just for you. Now, not everything is happiness, but since there are times when we’re not at our best, we have to let ourselves be caught by this emotion, even laugh our asses off if possible.

The whole “living happiness” thing isn’t something we invented. In fact, old Aristotle conceived happiness as everything related to balance and harmony, stating that it’s achieved through ourselves with actions that help us feel fulfilled. That stuff sounds good. Then another dude named Epicurus came around, saying happiness is tied to satisfying desires and pleasures. How many pleasures do you constantly satisfy—or how much do you deny yourself because of social paradigms? Those paradigms are real nonsense, especially nowadays.

With design, we want to interpret happiness through colors, textures, and music so you can live every moment and bring out the crazy side you’ve been hiding, the one that doesn’t show up and you don’t even know why. And many of us have thought about doing something out of the ordinary—like reacting differently, being honest, acting how you actually feel you should act, being bold. How many “should haves” have shown up in your life? “I should’ve kissed them,” “I should’ve said it,” “I should’ve done it.” “Should have” doesn’t exist… so why not regret doing instead of not doing?

For example, happiness grabs hold of us at FOU when we suggest something, you go for it, and we see you out there in the street wearing what we created—or with the friends we make in our stores, in our everyday life, when you walk in with that sour face from all the chaos but leave our FOU stores with a good smile. That’s happiness, because as we always say, our pieces are made so you dare.

And that’s how, through Color, we create the “Happiness Mood” we want you to reach.

Green
